ACC Plan Consolidation
Retirement Plan
Your retirement savings are moving to RPB. Here’s what to know about your account(s), investments, and fees.
403(b) account
Your ACC balance will move automatically into a new RPB account. If you already have an RPB 403(b) account, your ACC balance will be added to it.
- Contributions. Your employer will send employer and employee contributions to RPB instead of ACC.
- Beneficiaries. Beneficiary designations will carry over, but we strongly recommend logging into the MyRPB for Participants portal from the RPB home page after January 1 to confirm they’re still correct.
- Loans. Outstanding loans will transfer with the same balance, interest rate, and repayment schedule.
Supplemental plan
If you have an ACC supplemental plan account, it will remain in place, but the plan will no longer accept new contributions after December 31. RPB will become the administrator of the plan and be your contact for questions. Any future supplemental plan contributions will go into your account in RPB’s supplemental plan, known as a Rabbi Trust (and no, it’s not just for rabbis).
- Distributions
- Your supplemental plan distribution elections—timing and form of payment—won’t change.
- RPB’s Rabbi Trust plan has different distribution rules than ACC’s supplemental plan. If you have accounts in both plans, you’ll need to follow separate rules for each (RPB will help you with this).
Investments
RPB’s investment lineup will replace ACC’s for both the 403(b) and supplemental plans.
- If you’re new to RPB, your ACC account balance and future contributions will be invested in the T. Rowe Price target date fund for your birth year. These funds offer a mix of investments that automatically adjusts over time as you get closer to retirement. You can change your allocation after January 1.
- If you already have an RPB account, your ACC account balance and your future contributions follow the investment elections for your RPB account.
You’ll have access to RPB’s full investment lineup in both plans and can change your investments at any time:

Fees
RPB’s administrative fee is based on a percentage of your account balance, rather than a flat fee, so your administrative cost will look different than it did before. The fee is assessed quarterly, and you’ll see it itemized on your statements.
